I mean, intellectually I know I've got extra pudge, but especially since I'm feeling so much better lately and have more energy, I'm not as hyper-aware of my body's large-ness.

It's interesting how those of us with some extra are uncomfortable around people like ourselves. It both makes total sense and no sense.Insomniachttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08085682122930371443noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-751333977632413178.post-9795077833208476352009-06-03T23:40:46.744-04:002009-06-03T23:40:46.744-04:00i often feel like talking to seriously obese peopl...i often feel like talking to seriously obese people i see.

i am not disgusted or saddened when i see them. the feeling i get is weirder. it's more like they're ghosts, or spirits and i feel like they follow me around. like a reminder of how bad it could get if i don't stay on track.

needless to say, i don't like it when i encounter other fat people in my life.

it's not like i don't know that i'm not the only one ... it's just like, when it's just me, i'm not fat. i'm just me. when they're around, i have to be one them, instead of a member of the other club.Marhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03738353397065938415noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-751333977632413178.post-5287365972136607082009-06-03T16:43:25.527-04:002009-06-03T16:43:25.527-04:00I totally know what you mean! Although talking to ...I totally know what you mean! Although talking to a total stranger might not be a good idea (for all you know she might already BE on a diet ;)). I definitely think you could talk to someone you know who’s overweight and tell them that you’ve lost weight by making a few changes. Beautiful post. :)Anetthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12805416145022140660noreply@blogger.com
